Ausnahme|Zustand (State of Emergency) Film Festival will continue in 2010! Kickoff Date: October 6, 2008!

With the nationwide film festival Ausnahme|Zustand  the anti-stigmatization advocacy organization Irrsinnig Menschlich e.V. and EYZ seek to open discussion on the topic of emotional health and disorders with informative, enlightening and entertaining films. Within the popular cultural context of cinema and through an alliance of those affected and their loved ones, the festival strives to overcome stigmatization, discrimination and marginalization. Ausnahme|Zustand 2006 has enjoyed a successful run - we wish to thank the many people whose engagement and effort in the festival cities made Ausnahme|Zustand possible in the first place. The overwhelming positive response, the many activities and initiatives spawned by the festival, the passionate discussions and high attendance have encouraged us to continue with a new Ausnahme|Zustand series in 2008. Touring Festival Starting January 2009: ueber Macht – Kontrolle, Regeln, Selbstbestimmung

For the welfare organization Aktion Mensch EYZ Media organizes ueber Macht ("about power", also "overpower"):
ueber Macht presents 13 documentaries and features dealing with themes related to power, control, rules&regulations and self-empowerment . These 13 films ask questions about the future of the world. And they offer food for thought about possibilities for living together in a society which is dependent on the individual's committment and solidarity.  The nationwide film festival is on tour  until Fall 2009 through 120 cities in Germany. ueber Macht is part of the Gesellschafter-Project (translateable as "shareholders" and also "members of society") of  Aktion Mensch and the third festival tour.
